Technical Workshops

This course is a 1-2 day technical workshop presented on weekends during the academic year by experts from industry and government. Topics will include technical writing, applied exploration geophysics, applied exploration geochemistry, mineral and exploration economics, mining methods, ore reserve calculation techniques and views and issues related to Aboriginal peoples. These workshops are designed to address topics important to succeeding in industry and/or government and not dealt with in the university program. PREREQ: completion of year 2 course requirements.
